  1. Regularly feeding on bad news and negative reports creating a negative faith for the future  (Romans 10:17).
  2. The fear of being disappointed again  (Proverbs 13:12; Hebrews 10:23).
  3. Unresolved and unhealed past disappointments  (Psalm 23:3; Isaiah 61:1).
  4. Begging prayer mentality instead of confident praying  (I John 5:14-15).
  5. Performance based living instead of beliefs/relationship based  (Colossians 2:20-3:2; Galatians 3:1-5).
  6. Elevating end time doom and gloom prophecies above God’s promises of victory and influence  (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8).
  7. Waiting for trial to be over to be joyful instead of using joy as strength in the battle  (James 1:2-4; Romans 5:3-4; Nehemiah 8:10).
