I hope you had a spirit-filled weekend. I am excited to begin week three of The Feast with you. This week will be focusing on two scriptures – Romans 6:4 and 2 Peter 1:4.
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of life.”
“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
2 Peter 1:4
One day, I was reading Acts 19:13-16, where it talks about the sons of Sceva trying to deliver a demon possessed man. I realized that if a demon-possessed person can defeat seven guys, then how much more powerful is the potential of Spirit-filled Christians. I am convinced that receiving more revelation of God, and who you are in Christ, will cause you to walk in more victory, happiness, and power. Transformation does not come from trying harder but through renewing your mind. Renewing your mind means thinking like Christ and bringing your thoughts into agreement with Him.
Sometimes it is easier to submit your actions and your will to Him than it is to submit your beliefs.
Blessings on your journey,
