Day 17 – FOTS 2015

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

“For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,”
Romans 6:5

Today, do not ask “How am I feeling today?”. Instead ask, “What do I believe today?” Focus on believing things that bring life and hope. As you declare this over your life, I believe your body, soul, and spirit will be refreshed and renewed. Speak this over your life with passion and faith:

I believe that my emotions are being affected by God’s love and grace. I put my emotions under the influence of unconditional love. I receive love. I allow love to go into my past. I allow love to restructure false conclusions I have made about myself because of things that happened to me or things I did. I allow love to cover my sins and restore my true identity.

Because I am a new creation and resurrected with Christ, I am full of hope and joy. There is no shame and guilt connected to this new creation. His mercies are new every morning. I am not my past or my actions. My identity is in the part of me that lives forever, which is the spirit. I rest in my new identity. There is no striving with it. My true self is at peace with God and man. I relate to God and others from my new resurrected identity not from my old identity. I am under the blessing of Christ which is a spiritual force working for my good.

The beauty of the Spirit of God shines and emanates from me. It makes me beautiful and altogether lovely. I am loveable. People see me and are drawn to the beauty of my spirit that is one with Christ.

My identity as a new creation is demolishing emotions and beliefs that were attached to the old me. I am building new emotions and beliefs for the new me.

Blessings on your journey,
