Day 4 – FOTS 2015

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

Today, focus on being aware that your identity is not in your past but in your new creation. Remind yourself of when you felt really connected to God. Think of the moments when it was not your brain or even emotion, but a real sense of your spirit connecting with His Spirit when you felt strong, accepted, empowered, and free. Be aware that in those moments the real you was evident. According to Ephesians 2:6, your spirit is seated in heavenly places and therefore able to perceive things from a higher perspective. Today as you declare these truths over your life, I believe you will flourish in spirit, soul, and body. Declare this with conviction and joy:

I am aware of the unseen realm and bring supernatural wisdom and authority to things and circumstances. My spirit is one with God and therefore feels no shame, fear or hopelessness.

This week practice living and being aware of your spirit. After worshipping and fellowshipping with God, notice what it feels like to connect spirit to Spirit and then practice living from that place.

Self, you are more spirit than flesh. Your identity rests in who you are in Christ not who you are emotionally, physically or experientially. You have all things in Christ. You are light and overcome darkness, sickness, and depression.

These things are influenced by the substance of your spirit, which is one with Christ. Your spirit is full of peace, joy, and hope. Allow those things to emanate and flow into your soul and body. Imagine your soul and body coming into unity with the Spirit. Picture peace flowing from your spirit into your skin, muscles, organs, and cells. Your soul and body are responding to the love, joy, peace, and limitless expectation of the Kingdom in which you now live.

Blessings on your journey,
