Let's Just Laugh At That
When I (Steve) had a conversation with the Lord about increasing joy in my life, He gave me a solution. He took me to Psalm 2:4 where it says, "He who sits in the heavens laughs." He is laughing at what His enemies are saying and what His enemies are planning. He told me, "Steve, do what I do." I am a spiritual experimenter, so I tried it. I began to laugh at the lies of the enemy. I have been doing it for years now, and I like it.
Lies sound really real in the darkness of our thinking, but they are laughable when brought to the light of our words. To laugh, we have to let go of something. In the process of renewing our mind, learning to laugh (out loud) at the lies of the enemy is key to letting them go. We can then replace the lies we were believing with truth from God's Word.
